Services Available to Students With A Disability

LSSC offers a comprehensive academic support program for qualified students, based on the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Actof 1990 (ADA), Amendments Act (ADAAA), and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. All accommodations and services are arranged on an individual, case-by-case basis. The student must provide qualifying medical or psychological documentation that indicates the specific disability diagnosis and how the disability impacts the student in an academic setting.  Reasonable accommodations needed to have equal access to programs and activities of the College are determined during an official intake appointment with the Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD).
