Interpreter/Translator Services 

The Financial Aid Office now offers Interpreter/Translator Services for students and parents with limited English language skills.  The following contacts listed below are available to assist with interpreting/translating Financial Aid information.

FAFSA Fridays

Need help applying for financial aid? There's still time to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) 

Come to the Leesburg Library (LIB 30) to get help from financial aid professionals on Fridays during the month of April (starting TBA). These Friday sessions will be available from 9am - 11am and 1:30pm - 3:30pm. Students should click here to schedule an appointment.  

Prior to coming, create your FSA ID to sign your FAFSA and to make the process go faster. Go to fafsa.gov and click on the link to create an FSA ID.

What to bring with you: 

  1.  2015 income information (taxable and untaxed income from the latest tax return or W2’s) 

  2.  Social Security Card

  3.  Driver’s license

  4.  Alien registration card (eligible non-citizens)

  5.  Your parents information for number 1,2 and 3(only required for dependent students)         

  6.  Your parent (not required, but helpful when using their information)

  7.  Your FSA ID

It's time to Apply for Financial Aid for 2017-2018!

 

Get help paying for college. Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)at www.fafsa.gov. Students should apply as early as possible because many financial aid programs have limited funding that will go only to early applicants.

Attention Bright Futures Students!

It is very important that you list LSSC as the school you plan to attend (state school code 352). If you do not list our school we will not receive your Bright Futures information and your award will be delayed. To update your school choice go to www.floridastudentfinancialaid.org

  •  Click on State Grants, Scholarships & Applications

  • Select the Application Status & Award History tab
  • Select Name, Address & Institution under Initial or Renewal Student Update depending on your status.
