Title IV funds will be disbursed to students' accounts based on attending hours. This means that until all classes have started for the semester (for ex. a mini semester class that starts later in the term) all funds will not disburse. A portion of the funds will remain in a memo'd status until the official start date has passed for that class(es).

New Standards of Academic Progress for Financial Aid

The federal government has recently made some major changes to the regulations for standards of academic progress.  Please check out the new Standards of Academic Progress as these new changes may have an affect on your eligibility for financial aid.

Loan Students

Effective July 1, 2103, new law limits a first-time borrower's eligibility for Direct Subsidized loans to a period not to exceed 150% of the length of the borrower's educational program. It also causes first-time borrower's who have exceeded the 150% limit to lose the interest subsidy on their Direct Subsidized loans.
