Fall 2017 Financial Aid & Fee Payment Updates


Financial Aid

For students who have been enrolled for previous semesters, the process where your financial aid posts to your account has changed beginning Fall 2017. Your financial aid award amount is included in a detailed award letter that is emailed to you by the financial aid office.

However, your financial aid will not post to your student account in LOIS until AFTER you have registered for classes for that semester.

Fee Payment Deadlines

There are 4 fee payment deadlines for Fall 2017. A fee drop occurs after each deadline.

  • Monday 8/14 at 4:00 pm
  • Thursday 8/17 at 4:00 pm
  • Wednesday 8/23 at 4:00 pm
  • Sunday 8/27 at 11:59 pm

How does the drop work?

You will be dropped from your courses if you have an outstanding balance (including tuition & fees) on your student account at each of these times.  Students with financial aid should confirm with the Financial Aid Office that they will not be dropped while their aid is processed.

If you have an unpaid balance on your student account at the time of the drop, you will be dropped from all of your classes. This means that if you add a class between drops, you should pay for that class immediately. The balance for that class would make you eligible for the next drop.
