In anticipation of Tropical Storm Helene, Lake-Sumter State College will close all campus locations and cancel all classes and activities on Thursday, September 26.
The next update from the Emergency Management Team will be sent by 10:00 pm on Thursday, Sept. 26. A final decision regarding reopening on Friday, September 27 will be sent before 7:00 am on Friday morning.
These updates will be sent through the LSSC Alert system, email, and social media.
Please note that during the closure there will be no access to any facilities on LSSC campuses. For your safety and others, do not attempt to visit any LSSC campus during this closure.
