Lake County has established a Storm Recovery Center at the CareerSource Central Florida office located on LSSC’s Leesburg Campus. This is in Building M (you’ll see the cones). We are sharing this information if it is helpful to you, and we encourage you to share with others who find it useful.
Resources Available at Storm Recovery Center
- Lake County Offices: Income-based disaster assistance, permitting, business support
- CareerSource Central Florida: unemployment assistance, job placement, and recruitment services
- Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA): assistance with applications and appeals
- Hope Florida, American Red Cross, Salvation Army: emotional and financial recovery
- Community Legal Services, LifeStream Behavioral Center: legal and behavioral health support
