An Update from the LSSC Emergency Management Team
As we experience Hurricane Helene, our greatest concern is the safety and wellbeing of our students, faculty, staff, and friends of the college.
As the storm moves through our area, we want each of you to be able to receive the support and assistance that you may need. If you have immediate or emergency needs, please dial 911. Please know that during the worst of the storm, first responders may not be able to immediately respond.
At this time, we plan to open the College on a normal schedule for Friday, Sept. 27.
A final decision will be announced before 7:00 am on Friday, Sept. 27. This will be sent through the LSSC Alert system.
Please know that as impacts may vary across Central Florida, communicate with your instructor or supervisor who will be flexible regarding your individual situation.
