The LSSC Care Team is a multidisciplinary group of professionals within the College dedicated to supporting students’ well-being and safety. The primary goals of the Care Team include:
- Identifying Students – Assisting students who may be showing signs of distress, acting out, or facing challenges that could impact their academic success or personal well-being.
- Assessing Risk – Utilizing research and research-based tools to inform interventions and follow-up strategies.
- Coordinating Support – Connecting students with area and campus resources for help and support
- Monitoring Progress – Following up with referred students to ensure they receive the support they need.
- Promoting Campus Safety – Addressing behaviors of concern and prevent campus crises.
