Highway 27, Clermont, FL 34711<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ceremony-livestream\">Ceremony Livestream<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Please visit our dedicated <a href=\"\/livestream\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">livestream page<\/a> (<a href=\"\/livestream\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.lssc.edu\/livestream<\/a>) for links to the livestreams and digital versions of the event programs and booklets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"regalia\">Ceremony Information for Students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"student-arrival-at-ceremonies\">Guest Tickets<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Guest ticket reservation and pick-up information will be sent to your Lakehawk email when available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"regalia\">Accommodations for students with disabilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For graduates who are registered with the Student Accessibility Services (SAS) and need accommodations, please contact 352-365-3589\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:SAS@lssc.edu\">SAS@lssc.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"regalia\">Purchasing Cap and Gown<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Associate and Certificate level graduates must wear a black cap and gown over their clothing to participate in the ceremonies. Baccalaureate level graduates must wear a green cap and gown over their clothing to participate in the ceremonies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fall 2024 cap and gown are available for purchase <a href=\"https:\/\/graduationportal.com\/lake-sumter_college_\/shop\/home\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A limited number of cap and gowns are available for loan from the Registrar\u2019s Office for students with financial need. Contact&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:registrar@lssc.edu\">registrar@lssc.edu<\/a>&nbsp;to request one, if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"honor-cords\">Honor Cords<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If your cumulative GPA from August 2024 is 3.4 or higher and you are pending conferral for a degree, you will receive an Honor Cord at check-in for your Commencement ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other programs may provide you with a stole or cord to wear with your regalia. Only College approved stoles\/cords may be worn with the Commencement regalia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"professional-photography-at-ceremonies\">Professional Photography at Ceremonies<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A professional photographer will be present to photograph each graduate as they walk across the stage. Graduates will be sent a free color proof and order forms within three weeks after the ceremony. Family and friends are asked to take pictures with their graduate before and after the ceremony.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ceremony-livestream\">Ceremony Livestream<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Commencement Ceremonies will be livestreamed on the web for viewing at www.lssc.edu\/livestream and on Facebook and YouTube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"graduates-with-phi-theta-kappa-membership-recognition\">Graduates with Phi Theta Kappa membership recognition<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All\u00a0students who\u00a0are members of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) should contact Brandon Thigpen or Heather Elmatti, Chapter Advisors for details on purchasing the PTK honors regalia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"degree-conferral-diploma-process\">Degree Conferral &amp; Diploma Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The official degree conferral process for Fall graduates will be completed by Thursday, January 23, 2025 as long as all program requirements have been met. If your degree requirements have not been met, you will receive a note in Degree Works in myLSSC informing you of any outstanding requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After degrees are conferred, diplomas will be mailed by Wednesday, February 18, 2025, provided there is not an outstanding account balance or other record hold on your account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To prevent any delays in receiving your diploma, please make certain that the Registrar\u2019s Office has a current mailing address for you on file.
